Jai Berger is a sound designer and re-recording mixer who enjoys collaborating creatively with others. Since graduating from SCAD in 2015 with an MFA in Sound Design, he has worked at the post production studio Defacto Sound as a sound designer and re-recording mixer. As of 2022 he was promoted to Audio Director.

Through his time at the studio, he has worked with several networks including Netflix, HBO, Discovery, National Geographic, and Cartoon Network.

His time at Defacto Sound has given him opportunities to work on a variety of trailers, advertisements, and animations, as well as short films and documentaries. In addition to sound design and re-recording mixing, his studio work includes dialog editing and clean up, music editing, foley/foley editing, field recording, project reviews with clients, and running remote VO sessions.

Defacto Sound is also home to the podcast Twenty Thousand Hertz for which Jai has edited, sound designed, and mixed a number of episodes from its earliest days to the present. Jai strives to continue to hone his skills and work alongside creative teams.
